Review: Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution

I've always been a huge fan of John Frieda products. I've used multiple lines of his: Frizz-Ease, Sheer Blonde, Brilliant Brunette, Root Awakening, etc. I've always been pleased with them, but eventually I always change brands for one reason or another. When I was chosen for this BzzCampaign, I was very excited to try a new John Frieda product, especially something in the Frizz-Ease line. I've used Frizz-Ease off and on (mostly on) since high school, but hadn't used it much lately. The idea of a lightweight formula excited me even further.

After having tried the Sheer Solution, I have to say I'm still excited about the product. It's lightweight and really works. As far as protection from frizz goes, I have yet to have the product quit working before washing my hair next. This summer has been really hot and really humid in our area, so that says a lot. The only thing I don't like about the product -- and it's not so much of a dislike as it is something I like that I'm not sure most people do -- is the product smells like hair. That's great since it's going on your hair, but I like something with a little bit of a light, fruity scent to it for my hair. I give the product a 9 out of 10 and will be using it again... and again, and again, and again!

Review: Dr. Oetker's Ristorante Pizza

I was a bit skeptical trying out Ristorante Pizza. I'm not normally a huge fan of frozen pizza, with the exception of one or two brands, so I figured this would taste like cardboard like most frozen pizzas do. I took my coupons for my free pizzas, headed to the grocery store, and picked out two flavors - Pizza Spinaci and Quattro Formaggi.

I had my mom over for dinner and popped both pizzas in the oven. I'm not usually a huge fan of vegetables on pizza, but I was bound and determined to try the Pizza Spinaci. It was AMAZING! I was too full to try the Quattro Formaggi, but my husband was more than willing. He's typically not easy to please when it comes to food, especially pizza, but he loved it. He has since asked me to buy it again. The verdict? Definitely on the list of quick meals to pick up.

Review: Fekkai

Disclaimer: I'm a BzzAgent with http://www.bzzagent.com/. A few weeks ago, I received Fekkai's Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been using the conditioner and shampoo as my sole shampoo and conditioner since I received them. I absolutely love both products so far.

When I started using the Fekkai products, my hair was dry, frizzy, and unmanageable. Now that I'm using them, my hair is soft and hydrated, even after using at-home coloring products. The scent of both the shampoo and conditioner are light. No funny smells lingering after washing. My hair is smooth and stays pretty straight since I've been using the shampoo and conditioner.

My only complaint, which is only half of a complaint, is that it keeps my hair SO smooth (this is the part that makes it a half complaint) it has little body to it. However, with a little bit of product during styling, I've fixed that problem.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Fekkai's Glossing products to everyone I know!

New Attitude, New URL

I've tried blogging before and it's never really worked well for me. I've always enjoyed writing, but just have trouble sticking with it. Hopefully the new URL and new attitude towards keeping track of things will help out. So here it is, my first post on my new blog. Not sure what all I'll be with this, but I do know it will include anecdotes from my daily life, a product review or two, and other fun things.
